Madarasatul Riyadul-Qur’an Li-Ustaz Sunusi Jafar Kan-Karofi, Jahun Local Government Area, held its 12th Quranic graduation ceremony for 38 students.The Head of the School, Ustaz Malam Sunusi Jafar, disclosed this in his welcome address at the ceremony on Saturday and gave a brief history of the school which was established in 2004, noting that it started with 50 students and 2 teachers. He said the school now has 1,811 students, 32 teachers, and 3 sections.Malam Sunusi Jafar also appealed to the Chairman of Jahun Local Government Area, Alhaji Jamilu Muhammad Dan-Malam, to provide classrooms, toilets, and to fence the school’s section in Fandai to ensure security and a conducive learning environment.In his remarks, the host and Chairman of Jahun Local Government Area, Alhaji Jamilu Muhammad Dan-Malam, expressed appreciation for the success being recorded in Qur’anic education in the Local Government Area. He pledged to provide classrooms and toilets at the school’s Fagen Fandai section to advance Islamic education in the Local Government Area.In their separate remarks on the importance of education to the lives of youths, the Deputy Chief Imam of Jahun Central Juma’at Mosque, Khalifa Malam Muhammad Adamu, and the Education Secretary of Jahun Local Government Area, Hajiya Jummai Bala, encouraged youths to pursue education, describing lack of education as a major setback in the life of a Muslim.In his address as the father of the occasion, the Magajin Rafin Dutse and District Head of Jahun, Alhaji Balarabe Ahmad, represented by the Magajin Garin Jahun, Alhaji Abdulhadi Ahmad, expressed gratitude and offered prayers for the graduating students. He also commended the school’s teachers and the Chairman of Jahun Local Government Area for his contributions to the running of the school.Khalifa Malam Sadisu Aminu Abdullahi led the graduation of the 38 students, comprising 36 females and 2 males. He urged them to hold firmly to the Holy Qur’an to attain success on the Day of Judgment
