The Chief Imam and Chairman of the Da’awah Committee in Gano, Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area of Kano State, Sheikh Yusuf Umar Gidan Digawa, has urged Muslims to embrace reconciliation in resolving all forms of disputes in their daily lives.
The cleric made the call during his Friday sermon at the Gano Central Mosque.
Quoting verses from the Holy Qur’an, Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and the consensus of Islamic scholars, Sheikh Gidan Digawa highlighted the virtues and blessings associated with reconciliation.
According to him, Allah bestows blessings on any community that opts for peace and reconciliation whenever a disagreement arises.
The Friday prayer was led by the Deputy Chief Imam, Sheikh Muhammad Rabi’u Saidawa.
