As part of the contribution giving by Non Governmental organization called ‘Transit Education initiative’ has confirmed zero out of school children at Gandun Galadima community in Malam Madori local government area.
The organiser of the program Dr Tijjani Mukaddas said, the organization (Transit education initiative) along with community tittle holders, religious contributions and other volunteers visit House to house and shortlisted the names of the people who are out of schools.
He stated that , the organization had returned over 100 students within Gandun Galadima community and it outskirts to schools along with school uniforms , Books and shoes.
Besides, the Transit education initiative has secured Tracking and Record centere, community clinic that will be used as revolving fund to support the Community and support the pupils when the need arises.In his speech, The Executive secretary, Jigawa state primary Health care development agency Dr Shehu Sambo has commended the effort of the Transition Education initiative for securing the community clinic.
He further pledged to procure Heath post that will support the community clinic to improve health care service delivery in the area.
While speaking, Jigawa state Governor Umar Namadi represented by the Commissioner for Basic Education Dr lawal Yunusah Danzomo has described the contribution of the initiative as a welcome development and part of the 12-point agenda of Governor Umar Namadu administration’s.
He further said, they will invite the organiser of the program for the State Executive council meeting to brief them on the strategic plan made that made Gandun Galadima Zero out of school children.The representative of the Emir of Hadejia, Turakin Hadejia, Alhaji Dauda A. Yusuf has commended the effort of the organization and urged parents to continue enrolling their children into schools.
In her speech, the wife of the Executive Governor of Jigawa state, Hajiya (Dr) Amina Umar Thanked the organizer of the program, urged the students to continue attending the school regularly.
She further Flagg off the opening of community clinic, Tracking centre office and distribute Uniforms , Books, Mathematical instruments, shoes and other reading and learning materials to over 100 students.
Earlier, Dr Hauwa Mustafa Babura has welcome the participants who attended the occasion .
