As 2025/2026 academic session came to an end, in a grand sytle, the Bright Talent Academy Gano in Dawakin-Kudu local government area of Kano state, once again displayed a taste of excellence in educational dominance in the area.
This was followed by an approval given for educational excursion to Kano Zoological Garden, as the pupils to see the available wild animals, by the school Director, Malam Yahaya Usman Bala, to clear all the fairy tales on the existence of lions, elephants, gorillas, antelopes and other animal, taught through drawing and sketches, as demanded the said approval by the Head Teacher Malam Garba Usman Bala.
The milestone on this development, would have boast the pupils’ morale and added another flavour on their educational pursuit.
The idea was welcomed by both parents/guardians and the pupils where the school’s Parent Teachers Association (PTA), was at the lead.
A father to three pupils said, his children “would be proud and feels comfortable to see a living lions and elephants” as he has never visited a zoo.
Recalled that, since its inception about six years ago, the school remains a forefront in dorminance, within the area that hosted seven private schools.
An educational competition is now on stage among those private schools for patronage from the area and the neighbourhood.
Kano State Ministry for Education has declared 31st of July as the end of 2025/2026 academic year while first week of September to be the beginning of 2026/2027 academic session
