As 2027 gathers momentum in political scenes,Ringim,/Taura Federal Constituency in Jigawa state is set to hatch the first female lawmaker.
Over several months of agitating to convince Barrister Firdausi Sunusi Umar Ringim to vie for the seat, it said the agitators tremendeously succeseded.
In a special message of succumb on her official Facebook account on 26/03/2026, she thanks the people for the trust they saw on her doings and implore for the teeming strategy for their dreams to fulfill.
She is the founder of Firdausi Foundation an NGO based in Jigawa state, that catering for the wellbeing of less previledge and other vulnerables across the state.
It would be recalled that,a former Education Minister, Professor Rukayya Ahmed contested in 2015 on PDP, but woefully lost to her erstwhile aide from APC.
Barrister Firdausi with the mamouth supporters may break the jinx,as the first female lawmaker with a versatile knowledge in law in North-West.
