In another development Jigawa State contrubutory Heath management agency ( Jichma) will commence additional enrolment of Basic Health Care provision fund (BHCPF) beneficiaries across the 27 Local Government areas.
In Kaugama local Government area, the Primary Health Care Manager Abdu Ali Karkarna stated that, selection team for the enrollment comprised ; Facility in-charge, representative of PLWD, women representative, ward councilor, representative of Nomadic, WDC chairman, CBO’s , chief Imam, Hisbah and 10 village community heads in each Ward.
He Said , the team held a meeting in each Ward primary health care facility for the preparation of the enrollment of the beneficiaries in the area.
Abdu Aliyu added that, a team of personnel from State Jichma Office will begin the additional enrollment today Sunday in the 11 wards of Kaugama local Government council which will last for 1 week .
The beneficiaries to be enrolled are Blinds, elderly people, pregnant women, children , pwd’s, sickle persons, people with diabetes and mentally infected are expected to come along with National identification number (Nin).
The chairman of the (BHCPF) committee , council chairman of Kaugama local Government, Usman Masaki Dansule has thanked Governor Umar Namadi for considering and including less privilege to enjoy Free Medicare services across the state.
He added that, the recent beneficiaries were still enjoying free medical treatment across the local Government areas.
