Jahun Youths Stage Peaceful Protest, Urge APC to Replace Federal Lawmaker

A coalition of youths in Jahun Local Government, under the group _Jahun Ina Muka Dosa_, held a peaceful demonstration calling on the APC to replace Sa’idu Yusuf Miga, the Federal House of Representatives member for Jahun/Miga Federal Constituency.

The youths made their position known at a gathering held at the Science Special Primary School in Unguwar Yola, Jahun, on Saturday, ahead of the peaceful protest.

The youths, led by Shamsu Sulaiman Alafin, Nura Wada, and Comrade Muhammad Khamisu Harbo, submitted their grievance to the APC and Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, urging them to halt Sa’idu Yusuf Miga’s candidacy.

They argued that he has delivered nothing tangible in the twelve years he has represented the two Local Government Areas.

Shamsu Sulaiman Alafin said the peaceful protest reflects their frustration with Sa’idu Yusuf Miga’s leadership in the House of Representatives.

He claimed that the lawmaker has executed no meaningful infrastructure projects despite federal constituency funds released for development.

Shamsu Alafin further called on the APC leadership and Governor Malam Umar Namadi to prioritize the future of the people of Jahun and Miga Local Government Areas over political interests.
