A private aircraft conveying David Jimkuta, senator representing Taraba south, made an emergency return to Abuja after developing a technical fault shortly after take-off.The incident occurred on Saturday while the senator was travelling to Kashimbila airport.In a statement, the senator’s office said Jimkuta was en route to Takum and Wukari.However, about six minutes into the flight, an alarm sounded, and the pilot alerted passengers to a technical problem.“Acting with professionalism and in line with aviation safety protocols, the pilot immediately turned the aircraft back to Abuja, where it landed safely,” the statement reads.
