As the 2027 general election draws nearer, preparations are already underway at the grassroots level.
In a bid to strengthen unity and ensure electoral success, party faithfuls in Kaugama Local Government, under the leadership of Council Chairman Honourable Usman Masaki Dansule, convened a crucial meeting with elected councillors, supervisory councillors, and other political appointees.
The council chairman Usman Masaki who led the meeting urged the elected and other appointees to unify all party faithfuls from every nook and cranny of the local Government council by executing Minor developmental activities at ward level.
In his remarks, the Deputy Leader of the Legislative Council, Honourable Idris Abdulwahab Dusare, who represented the Council Leader, pledged the full support of all legislative members.
He assured that they would work tirelessly to uphold the party’s vision and facilitate meaningful development at the ward level.
A female political appointee, Fatimah Baita Yelleman called for the establishment of a regular forum where elected officials and appointees can communicate effectively. She noted that such a platform would enhance coordination and strengthen the party’s grassroots presence.
In his closing remarks, the Local Government Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Honourable Shu’aibu Girbobo, commended the Council Chairman for organizing the stakeholders’ meeting.
