The Jigawa State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri, has assured the newly elected leaders of the Military Widows Association, Jigawa State Chapter, of his office’s support in addressing their welfare concerns and strengthening their inclusion in government programs.
The assurance was given when the Association’s new State Coordinator, Barrister Ladi Zak Adamu, led the executive team on a courtesy visit to his office in Dutse.Barrister Adamu said the visit was to foster direct engagement with government and solicit cooperation to advance the welfare of military widows in the state.
Responding, Alhaji Dagaceri pledged full support and urged the association to work closely with relevant government institutions to access existing programs and ensure structured support for members.
He emphasized the need for practical solutions and encouraged the widows to develop initiatives that promote livelihoods, community support, and peacebuilding. “As families of fallen heroes, you have a unique voice in enhancing security awareness at the grassroots level,” the Head of Service said.
In a related development, a delegation from the Federal Technical College, Hadejia, also visited the Head of Service to formally present an invitation to the school’s inaugural speech and prize-giving day.
Leader of the delegation, Usman Danjani, said the school considered the Head of Service a critical stakeholder in the state and therefore deemed it necessary to invite him to the event.
Alhaji Dagaceri thanked the committee for the invitation and assured them of his support for the success of the program.
