The Chairman of the Jigawa State Internal Revenue Service, JIRS, Dr. Nasir Sabo Idris, FCA, FCTI, attended the J-Invest Summit 2026 in Dutse. The summit was organised as a strategic investment forum to showcase the economic potential and investment opportunities in Jigawa State.

Dr. Idris said his participation demonstrates JIRS’ commitment to the Jigawa State Government’s vision for economic growth. He stated that the agency is focused on promoting investment and improving the ease of doing business across the state.

According to him, a predictable and transparent tax system is essential to attracting both local and foreign investors.

The JIRS Chairman explained that strengthening internally generated revenue will depend on sustainable economic expansion.
