ACReSAL project has commissioned four cattle range units in Ningi local government area.

The cattle range units commissioned includes; Hardo Baso, Dutsen Sallah, Tudun Jarkoya and Kafin Lemo communities in the area.

Earlier in his handover speech to the local government, the State Coordinator ACReSAL project, Dr. Ibrahim Kabir maintained that the project is a tri lateral project of World bank, Federal and state governments, charged with the task of improving agricultural production, animal production and environmental developments.

Dr. Ibrahim Kabir also commended the efforts of the local government chairman Honourable Nasiru Zakarai Sardaunan Ningi for his giant efforts whom he described as the only chairman in the state that penatrated all the nooks and carannics of the rural setting to ensure success of the project in the local government.

The state project coordinator also commended the chairman for his care and maintenance which he said has greatly sustained the project in the area.

Dr. Kabir also called on the benefiting communities to project and safeguard the protect so as to maintain the purpose of the project.

Receivinthe project behalf of the local government; the council chairman Honourable Nasiru Zakarai Sardaunan Ningi commended the efforts of the ACReSAL project in the area which he said has made tremendous success in improving agricultural farming and animal productions.

The chairman also implored the services of ten people on casual basis to watch and safeguard the five cattle range centres produced by ACReSAL including the first cattle range at Arinja community last year by the project.

The chairman also commended the state government of Senator Dr. Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir Turakin Ningi for care and concern on the lives of nomadic cattle rearers across the state.

The council chairman also called on the entire local government communities to continue to support the state government government to enable it realistic its goals and objectives in the state.

The chairman also handover the cattle range units to the benefiting District Heads and urged them to maintain vigilance to safeguard the cattle range centre in their respective domains.

In their joined statement; the benefiting District Heads has expressed their happiness on the procurement of the project and assured their efforts and determination to support meaningful development projects in their area.
