The Director General of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Dr Muhammad Bulama, has appeared before the National Assembly Joint Committee on Information and National Orientation to present the FRCN’s 2025 budget performance and defend its proposed 2026 budget.
Dr Bulama was part of the delegation led by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, alongside heads of agencies under the ministry, who appeared before the Joint Committee as part of the ongoing budget oversight and appropriation process.
Dr. Bulama was accompanied by key members of FRCN’s management team, including the Director of Finance and Accounts, Malam Musa Bako; Director of Administration, Mrs Comfort Aremu; Director of Engineering Services, Malam Sanda Askira; Director of Corporate Development and Communication, Mr. Osana Omame; and Director of the Director General’s Office, Malam Suleiman Musa.
The joint committee session presided over by the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Information and National Orientation, Senator Kenneth Eze, and his House of Representatives counterpart, Mr Olusola Fatoba scrutinized the Budget performance and Budget proposal of the Ministry of Information and National Orientation
The budget defence forms part of the National Assembly’s constitutional mandate to review the performance of government agencies and assess their funding proposals for the upcoming fiscal year.
