Group donates food stuffs to inmates in Wamba for iftar A charitable organization, Islamic Society of Eggon-land-ISE has donated food stuffs to inmates of wamba custodian center for suhur and iftar worth millions of naira.While taking the delivering of the items, General Secretary of the Islamic Society, Alhaji Umar Abdullahi Galle said that, the gesture was part of the group spirit in every month of ramadan to support government effort and enrich the inmates to better their health while they are past.He said, the initiative of the Islamic Society of Eggon-land-ISE was not meant to downgrade the effort of government for what it has been providing to the inmates but considering that, the food would make them happy and were not limited to only muslims faithful but the entire inmates who are serving their jail term as well as to those who are fast to break like everyone moving outside.”In the spirit of ramadan is all about sharing, love, charity, caring and reformation to all, including the inmates that are serving their jail term who needs to breakfast like everyone else that are going about their normal businesses during this month of ramadan, he said…….””This delivery is far reaching of what they’re eating and then, the food is for them not the staff of the prison and we don’t know the extent that this items will change their life because if you are eating good food during iftar and suhur would encourage to stay strong and fast well…..he explain”Alhaji Umar Abdullahi Galle also appealed to the management of the custodian centre to judiciously use the food items as it was meant for in the interest of sustaining the cordial relation that existing.”We are here last year and we meet you as in-charge, the information we got from the inmates how promising and delivery you committed to yourself in respect for what we offer last time and we are calling on you to sustain the tempo because nobody is questioning the integrity of your leadership in this prison facility in wamba….”he added..””And we observed you have the love, care and concerned to this inmates that you can even support them from your pocket so from what have offered today kindly give it to them as usual so that, the life of this people will be better and we pray that God will reward you for the work you are doing considering the challenge and the nature of the job is very tasking and we appreciate your patience and our earnest prayers you will have a better ending with them one day…..”Receiving the items, John Ali-Bando the supretendant of correctional service, in-charge of wamba custodian center, appreciated the gesture and supporting the inmates by the Islamic Society of Eggon-land-ISE, promise to judiciously use the food items as it was meant for He called on other charitable organizations and religious bodies to emulate the Islamic Society of Eggon-land-ISE to achieve the set objectives in assisting the needy.”On behalf of Comptroller General and State Comptroller of Correctional Facility I want to appreciate everyone of you, it is not everybody that have the to heart of given out charity to the needy, but the God that allows you to remember this inmates in wamba will reflenish your pocket……he maintain..””If other organisations, religious leaders will emulate the Islamic Society of Eggon-land-ISE is doing, there would be a serious change in correctional facilities in the country, we appreciate your coming, thank you for what you have been doing and pray that God will give you more grace…..he added…”The food items donated that worth millions of naira, includes bags of rice, maize, sugar, salt, granded millet powder, cartoons seasoning, cartoons of dry fish, granut oil, cash among others
