The Chairman of Taura Local Government Council, Hon. Shu’aibu Bin Hambali, has commended security agencies, traditional rulers and Islamic scholars for ensuring peace at Gujungu Market.
During a monitoring tour of the market, the Chairman praised the efforts of the Police, NSCDC, Army, Hisbah, Immigration, vigilantes and Miyetti Allah leaders for maintaining order.
He said prayers by Islamic scholars and cooperation with neighboring LGAs also contributed to the peaceful trading activities.
Hon. Hambali reaffirmed the council’s commitment to sustaining peace and security in Gujungu and across Taura LGA.
