Secretary to the Niger State Government, Alhaji Abubakar Usman, has reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the State Government towards strengthening collaboration with security institutions to enhance safety, peace, and effective service delivery.

The Secretary to the State Government stated this when he received in Minna, a delegation from the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji Kaduna, on a study tour to Niger State. 

Represented by the Permanent Secretary General Services, Dr Muhammad Makusidi, Alh Abubakar Usman noted that the administration of Governor Mohammed Umar Bago places high premium on strategic partnerships with security agencies and relevant institutions as part of efforts to sustain peace and create a conducive environment for development.

According to him, the visit by the delegation underscores the importance of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and institutional engagement in addressing contemporary security challenges and improving governance outcomes.

Abubakar Usman however assured the delegation of the support and cooperation of Niger State Government throughout the duration of their study tour, towards achieving maximum results.

Earlier, leader of the delegation, Air Commodore O. O. Obasa explained that the visit formed part of the College’s study programme designed to expose participants to practical governance and security-related engagements at the sub-national level.
