Jigawa state police arrested Alhassan isah (AKA Tata) after through investigation by receiving the report On 21st February 2025, at about 08:30 am, whereby Abdurrahman Sadiq ‘m’, a Staff of Nigeria Institute Of Oil Palm Research (NIFOR) was reported at Dutse Division that, he parked his motor vehicle mazda 323 model f with reg no. MNA 139HK Niger State at Aujara villige, Jahun LGA and forgot the key inside.
Unfortunately, when he woke up the next morning, and discovered empty parking space.
Jigawa state Police public relations officer SP Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the incident saying that; “preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown person or group of people had taken the vehicle from where it was parked to an unknown location”.
Shiisu added that; a collaborative effort and in-depth investigation revealed that Alhassan Isa (AKA TATA) of Shuwarin town, Kiyawa LGA was arrested and the stolen vehicle was recovered in his possession.
On investigation, the suspect confessed to the commission of the offense.
Further investigation revealed that the suspect is an ex-convict who is facing several charges for motorcycle and tricycle theft.
After discreet investigation, the suspect will be arraigned in the same court that granted his bail, where he will face the full force of the law.
