Governor Mohammed Umar Bago of Niger State has attributed the successes recorded by his administration within the last three years tọ the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who through his Renewed Hope Agenda provided enpugh resources tọ sub nationals tọ provide the much needed democratic dividend tọ its people.
Hẹ stated this while commissioning multi billion naira state of the earth facilities at the IBB Specialist Hospital Minna.
Mohammed Umar Bago explained that in Niger State they will continue tọ appreciate the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu which has rekindled their vision for a New Niger so that people of Niger state will continue tọ witness unpresidented breakthrough interms of projects execution and overall development of the state.
Hẹ however said following the signing of aggreement with Russian Hospital and Bank, his administration plans to deploy two hundred and fifty tele medicine machines across the twenty five Local Government Councils tọ reduce the burdẹn of travelling from rural areas tọ city centres for medication.
Mohammed Umar Bago further said they have also signed an aggreement with the Arab Contractor Hospital in Egypt where before you go on medical tourism, you will be referred tọ the IBB Hospital Minna for the first level diagonistic aspect, in which they will be recieving twenty tọ fifty doctors from Egypt.
On Primary Healthcare, hẹ said his administration will continue tọ prioritise Health, as they have already completed twenty type two model going for another ọne hundred and tẹn, stressing that they have added the number of workfoce tọ ọne thousand five hundred Health workers for effectuve service delivery.
In his remarks State Commissioner of Health, DR Murtala Muhammad Bagana said from 2024 tọ darẹ over two thousand five hundred personnels have been added tọ rhe workforce, the largest, healthcare recruitment in the fifty years history of Niger State, and descrubed the facility as special, because it can be relocated anywhere.
Also speaking, Chief Medical Director, IBB Specialist Hospital Dr Bala Waziri thanked Governor Umar Bago for restoring rhe lost glory of Health sector in Niger state and assured HIM of judicious utilisation of rhe Items.
