Deputy President of the Senate, Dr. Barau I. Jibrin has donated a brand new 40- seater coaster bus to Barau football club, aiming to boost the morale of the team in the ongoing Nigerian National League.
In a statement signed by the club’s Media officer Ahmad Hamisu Gwale revealed that the donation occurred on Saturday by the chief of staff to the Deputy President of the Senate, Professor Muhammad Ibn Abdallah.
While speaking, Professor Abdallah described the commitment of Senator Barau Jibrin to the club and entire football activities in Kano and Nigeria.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the club, Ambassador Ibrahim Shitu Chanji, commended the gesture, notifying that the donation will boost and motivate the players.
The ceremony was attended by Hajiya Yar dada Mai Kano Bichi special adviser to Barau Jibrin on women affairs and some legislative aids to the senator, among others.
