PAVE Network Jigawa State has presented its quarterly report for the period spanning November 2025 to January 2026, highlighting efforts to strengthen partnership, civic engagement, and institutional capacity across the state.
The Chairman of the Network said the activities were designed to improve coordination among stakeholders, enhance knowledge-sharing, and increase the impact of community-level interventions in Jigawa and beyond.
During November 2025, the Network prioritized internal coordination and stakeholder engagement. Members held review meetings to assess ongoing activities, discuss strategies for effective community advocacy, and strengthen communication channels for timely information sharing.
According to the report, the engagements helped to build a stronger foundation and improved teamwork among members ahead of subsequent programmes.
In December 2025, the Network intensified learning and knowledge exchange through a study visit to Kaduna State. A Jigawa delegation understudied Kaduna’s approaches to coordination, advocacy, and stakeholder mobilization. The team said the visit enabled them to exchange ideas on community-based initiatives, identify adaptable strategies for Jigawa, and build stronger partnerships with counterparts in Kaduna.
January 2026 was marked by a reciprocal visit, as PAVE Network Jigawa hosted a delegation from Zamfara State for an inter-state experience-sharing initiative. The programme featured presentations on Jigawa’s activities and achievements, discussions on community engagement approaches, and conversations on challenges and solutions. Both states agreed to strengthen cooperation and promote peer learning among PAVE Networks.
The report listed key achievements within the quarter to include improved coordination among members and stakeholders, stronger collaboration with other state networks, and increased adoption of best practices through interstate exchanges. The Network also said the visits created opportunities for future joint initiatives across the region.
Despite the progress, the Network identified several challenges, including limited resources for expanding outreach, transportation and logistics constraints, and the need for wider institutional support and public awareness. It also cited sustainability concerns in maintaining regular programmes and engagements across communities.
To address the gaps, the Network recommended increased support from stakeholders, development of a sustainable funding strategy, more frequent capacity-building for members, and continued interstate learning visits. The Chairman concluded that PAVE Network Jigawa remains committed to collaboration, accountability, and impactful engagement, and expressed appreciation to all members and partners for their contributions during the period.
