Dutse Emirate Development Association (DEDA) has congratulated His Highness, the Emir of Dutse, Alhaji Hamim Nuhu Muhammad Sanusi CFR, on his appointment as Chancellor of Sokoto State University by the Sokoto State Government.
In a press statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Musbahu Basirka, DEDA described the appointment as recognition of the Emir’s leadership, commitment to education, and contributions to community development and peace building.
The association said the honour is a proud moment not only for the Emir but also for Jigawa State and the people of Dutse Emirate. DEDA noted that the Emir’s wisdom, humility and focus on youth empowerment will add value to Sokoto State University.
DEDA also commended the Sokoto State Government for the choice, saying it reflects unity and recognition of excellence beyond borders.
The association expressed confidence that the new role will strengthen ties between Jigawa and Sokoto States and promote education across the region.
The association prayed for Allah’s guidance and success for the Emir as he assumes the responsibility.
