The Dutse Emirate Development Association (DEDA) proudly extends its warmest congratulations to Alhaji Abdullahi Barde Kudai on his well-deserved appointment as a Member, Board of Directors of the Danmodi Student Care Initiative.

This appointment comes as no surprise, given Abdullahi Barde Kudai’s remarkable track record spanning over two decades of selfless service, commitment, and transformative contributions to humanity, particularly in the critical sectors of health and education.

Alhaji Abdullahi Barde Kudai has consistently distinguished himself as a passionate advocate for grassroots development, with a special focus on improving access to quality healthcare and education in hard to reach communities. His impactful interventions have contributed significantly to the production of numerous rural female doctors, nurses, and midwives, an achievement that continues to strengthen the healthcare system across Jigawa State and beyond.

Notably, his role as a program officer under the W4H initiative saw the rehabilitation and strengthening of health training institutions in Birnin Kudu and Jahun.

He also played a pivotal role in supporting the establishment of the School of Nursing in Hadejia, including the construction of classroom infrastructure during its formative stage.Furthermore, his leadership and advocacy contributed to increased enrollment in health institutions across Birnin Kudu, Jahun, and Hadejia, alongside the provision of essential training equipment.

He was instrumental in the development and implementation of the FYP policy framework, which has empowered countless underprivileged youths in Jigawa State, many of whom are now trained healthcare professionals serving within and outside the state.

Alhaji Abdullahi Barde Kudai also facilitated the introduction of the Girls for Health (G4H) initiative in collaboration with the Jigawa State Ministry of Education.

This initiative has enhanced the academic capacity of female students, particularly in science and English, thereby improving their performance in final examinations and expanding their opportunities in health related careers.

Over the years, he has remained a key resource person in promoting safe motherhood, community health awareness, immunization uptake, and timely healthcare seeking behaviors efforts that date back to the administration of former Governor Alhaji Saminu Turaki and continue to impact lives today.

His contributions also extend to grassroots governance, where he served on the Dutse Local Government Health Committee, playing a vital role in strengthening community health systems.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Abdullahi Barde Kudai is widely respected for his exceptional ability to mobilize communities, foster local driven solutions, and address societal challenges through innovative and sustainable approaches often without reliance on government intervention.

DEDA expresses its deep appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Umar Namadi, FCA, for recognizing competence and dedication in this strategic appointment.

We also commend the Senior Special Assistant on Student Matters, Hon. Salisu Muhammad Seeker, for his role in identifying and supporting capable individuals committed to societal advancement.
