KIRIKASAMMAN: local gov’t paid over 5.3M monthly as casual staff allowance

No fewer than 190 casual staff in Kirikasamma Local Government Area received a total of Five Million, Three Hundred and Forty Thousand Naira (₦5,340,000) as their monthly allowance.
The casual staff, comprising both technical and non-technical personnel, are employed in the Water and Sanitation Department and the Primary Health Care Development Agency.
The Primary Health Care Coordinator, Musa Abdullahi Diladige, stated that over Four Million Naira (₦4,000,000) was disbursed to 125 technical and non-technical casual staff. Each technical staff member received ₦20,000, while non-technical staff were paid ₦10,000.
Similarly, the Head of the Water and Sanitation Department, Muhammad Maisamari, confirmed that 65 casual staff under his department were paid a total of One Million, Three Hundred Thousand Naira (₦1,300,000) as a two-month allowance.
The Council Chairman of Kirikasamma, Muhammad Maji Wakili Marma, urged the casual staff to redouble their efforts and contribute meaningfully to their respective assignments.
