Jigawa state as the must peaceful state in Nigeria launched an event gathered thousand of participants and stake holders from all angle of the state and beyond, coming together to witnessed the inauguration of Schools Protection Squad (SPS) in Jigawa.
This is to maintain the existing peace living and condusive learning environment across the state.
In his remark, The Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone One Headquarters, Kano, AIG Ahmed Ammani, fdc, has reaffirmed Nigeria’s police commitment toward ensuring the safety of schools across the country.
He confirmed this statement on behalf of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, at the launch of the Stakeholders’ Forum and Training of the School Protection Squad in Jigawa State.
From his part, CP AT Abdullahi, the Jigawa state commissioner of police shows the command’s readiness to carry on the designed project to maintain the already peace living across the state. He also made it clear that there’s no school in Jigawa recorded any banditry attack.
The Jigawa state governor Mal. Umar A. Namadi promise to continue working tirelessly with police in the state to ensure safer schools and environment in general.
The governor also commended the effort of Jigawa state police under the workaholic leadership of experienced and well talented friendly CP AT Abdullahi.
The event gathered many dignitaries like; Jigawa state deputy governor, the Speaker Jigawa state house of assembly, Traditional rulers, commissioners, religious leaders, all securities’ representatives, civil society leaders and many others.
