Governor, Malam Umar A. Namadi, has lifted the suspension of his Special Adviser on Salary and Pension, Bashir Ado Kazaure that had been imposed earlier with immediate effect.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim.
The statement explained that, the action comes after a thorough investigation led by a committee chaired by the State Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice, Barrister Bello Abdulkadir Fanini.
“The committee’s report addressed the circumstances surrounding Kazaure’s suspension, which had been enacted due to a premature announcement concerning a proposed minimum wage of N70,000” the SSG said.
The SSG disclosed that, the decision to lift the suspension reflects the Governor’s commitment to uphold fairness and due process in the handling of such matters.
