Our attention has been called to a viral misleading claim suggesting that Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti is considering withdrawal from the All Progressives Congress Governorship primary election scheduled to hold on 21th May, 2026.
The fifth column has deliberately fabricated this to misguide our people who have called on Dr. Bala Wunti to join the race to bring meaningful development.
For the avoidance of doubt and to put the record in proper perspective, Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti has never contemplated or rescinded his decision to fly the flag of APC.
As a democrat who believes strongly in the due process and power of internal democracy, he is poised to participate in tomorrow’s exercise. We will not disappoint the teeming population of our dear state who have been longing for the candidature of Dr. Bala Wunti.
We believe in the APC leadership commitment and a level playing ground.
Therefore, we called on our supporters and loyalists to go out massively on Thursday to cast their for Dr. Bala Wunti to build a state that we all wished to live in.
However, we urged the public to be wary of the unscrupulous individuals who are out to undermine our efforts.
We urged them to stay calm amidst this pull-him-down attempt of these anti-progress individuals.
