Residents of Malam Madori and Kirikasamma Local Government Areas have organized clean-up efforts to ensure environmental hygiene across both areas.
Coordinated by self-help groups and community volunteers, these initiatives cleared drainages, culverts, and roadsides to ensure proper hygiene.

The Head of the Water and Sanitation Department in Malam Madori, Shehu Sani Gwadayi and his Kirikasamma counterpart, Muhammad Maisamari, confirmed that all waste prone areas were swept and drainage systems cleared.
The council chairman of kirikasamma Honourable Muhammad Maji Wakili Marma , says they are paying over 100 technnical and Non technical staff allowances in the area to clean the environment as well as to work technically in various health facilities.
In his response , the council chairman Salisu sani Garun-Gabas says , Health is one the key of the 12-point agenda of Governor Umar Namadi which deserved more priority for the people in the area of his jurisdiction to have good standard of living.
