The Executive Chairman of Damaturu Local Government and Yobe State ALGON Chairman, Hon. Bukar Adamu, is leading a delegation of chairmen from the 17 local governments in Yobe State to the 5th Lake Chad Basin Governors’ Forum in Maiduguri, Borno State.
The forum, which is being hosted by the Yobe State Government, aims to promote regional cooperation and development in the Lake Chad Basin region. The event brings together governors, chairmen, and stakeholders from the region to discuss key issues affecting the region and explore ways to address them.
As part of the forum, Hon. Bukar Adamu and his colleagues attended a gala night dinner at the Borno State Government House, where they interacted with other participants and discussed ways to promote peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
The participation of the Yobe State local government chairmen in the forum demonstrates their commitment to regional cooperation and development. They are expected to play a key role in implementing the resolutions and decisions reached at the forum.
