It is with utmost dismay and disappointment that we, the Chapter Chairmen and Secretaries who are members of the State Executive Council of Rattawu in Rivers State, address a malicious and false claim circulating, purportedly endorsing one Emeka Kalu a.k.a Magic Finger for the position of National President of Rattawu in the forthcoming National Delegates Conference (NDC) 2025 in Gombe State.
We categorically state that Comrade Suzi Accra Jaja never called for any SEC and SAC meeting , hence no endorsement was made. This misinformation is a blatant fabrication designed to mislead the public and undermine the integrity of our union. We wish to inform the general public and members of Rattawu to completely disregard this falsehood.
Our unwavering support lies with our daughter, Comrade Dr. Opi Erekosima, who has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, vision, and dedication to the welfare and advancement of Rattawu. We stand solidly behind her candidacy and urge all members and delegates to join us in supporting her bid for the position of National President.
We call upon all well-meaning members of Rattawu to reject this attempt to deceive and manipulate the membership. Let us rally behind the leadership and vision of Comrade Dr. Opi Erekosima, who promises a brighter future for our union.
We appreciate your attention to this matter and assure you of our commitment to the principles and values of Rattawu.
