Local gov’t chairman commission 32 new shops …

The Executive Chairman of Ningi Local Government Area, Hon. Nasiru Zakarai, has commissioned 32 newly constructed shops at the Ningi market.

The shops were built by the local government as part of efforts to boost socio-economic activities in the area.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony held today at the Ningi Market, Hon. Nasiru Zakarai stated that the project is part of the broader initiative by the administration of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed to enhance internally generated revenue for Bauchi State.

He noted that the state government approved substantial funding for the construction of the shops in line with its economic development agenda.

The chairman expressed gratitude to the governor for his unwavering commitment to empowering the people of Bauchi State, particularly through capital investments and the development of marketplaces.

As a gesture of appreciation, Hon. Nasiru announced the renaming of the Ningi Market to “Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed Turakin Ningi Modern Market, Ningi.”

He also commended the foresight and dedication of the past leadership of Ningi Local Government for laying the groundwork for such developmental projects.
