Sam James, has been awarded the prestigious title of man of the match, following his stellar performance on match day 8 in the NNL, between Barau FC and Zamfara United ended 3-0 in favour of Maliya boys.
Jame dazzled at the excellency pitch with an impressive goal and assist during the match played on Saturday at the Dambatta stadium.
The sports writers association of Nigeria, Kano chapter, presented the award to Same James in recognition of his outstanding performance.
The award was presented to Sam James by Barau FC president Shawwal Barau I. Jibrin, alongside former kano State Commissioner of Youth and sports development, Hon. Kabiru Ado Lakwaya, and the club chairman Amb. Ibrahim Shitu Chanji, among others, all witnessed the event.
