As the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria celebrated Eid-el-Fitr today, marking the end of Ramadan Kareem, prominent leaders joined the festivities in Malam Madori.
The event, held on Sunday, 30th March 2025 (30th Shawwal 1446 AH), saw Muslims across Nigeria and other parts of the world observing the Sallah celebration.
Among the dignitaries in attendance were , Hon. Salisu Sani Garun-Gabas, Council Chairman of Malam Madori, Senator Ahmed Abdulhamid, representing Jigawa Northeast, and Hon. Yusuf Saleh Dunari, former federal lawmaker representing Malam Madori and Kaugama.
The leaders joined worshippers at the Eid-el-Fitr prayer ground in Malam Madori, fostering unity and goodwill among the people.
This year Sallah celebration marked the first attended by the Council Chairman and his entourages, signifying a notable achievement in his administration. .
The event provided an opportunity for community members to exchange pleasantries and strengthen relationship among them
During his sermon, Sheikh Abdulqadeer Usman , the Chief Imam of Izalatul Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah, urged the people of Malam Madori to continue praying for peace and prosperity in the area.
He also emphasized the importance of purifying wealth through alms and charity assuring that such acts bring multiplication of wealth.
