FIRE OUTBREAK: Jahun local gov’t provides relief materials …

A devastating fire outbreak occurred on the night of Friday, March 22, 2025, in Askawa Gidan Haji village, Idanduna ward, Jahun Local Government Area, leaving residents in a state of panic. Although the cause of the fire remains unknown, eyewitnesses estimate the damage to be in millions of Naira.
Over eighteen Carlos ond hauses ona animal’s are listed.

In response to the disaster, the Chairman of Jahun Local Government, Hon. Jamilu Muhammad Danmalam, has provided relief materials to the affected community.

• Food and Beverages:
  • 7 bags of millet
  • 7 bags of rice
  • 1 bag of sugar
  • 1 bag of gari
• Household Essentials:
  • 6 mattresses
  • 7 mosquito nets
  • 8 bathing buckets
  • 9 robes and wrappers
  • 10 pairs of shoes

The relief materials were presented to the community by the Deputy Chairman, Hon. Rabi’u Salisu Harbo, who urged the residents to remain calm and grateful for the assistance.

The community has expressed gratitude to Hon. Danmalam for his prompt response to their
plight.
