In accordance with the provisions of Section 3 of the Notaries Public Act, Cap 141, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, the Honorable Chief Judge of Jigawa State, Hon. Justice Umar M. Sadiq, today administered the oath of office to Barrister Kamalu Salihu Adamu, officially appointing him as a Notary Public.
The swearing-in ceremony, held at Judicial Complex Dutse, marks a significant milestone in Barrister Adamu’s legal career, granting him the authority to perform notarial acts, including the authentication of documents, administration of oaths, and certification of affidavits, among other duties.
Barrister Kamalu Salihu Adamu, a distinguished legal practitioner with a proven track record of excellence, has demonstrated unwavering commitment to the legal profession and the administration of justice. His appointment as a Notary Public is a testament to his integrity, professionalism, and dedication to upholding the rule of law.
In his remarks, the Chief Judge Hon. Justice Umar M. Sadiq commended Barrister Adamu for his exemplary service and urged him to continue to discharge his duties with the highest level of diligence and ethical standards. The Chief Judge also emphasized the importance of the role of Notaries Public in facilitating legal and commercial transactions, both domestically and internationally.
