According to Jigawa state police command through force public department said; information from Buju village, Dutse LGA, indicated that Rukayyah Amadu 20 years of the same address poured hot water on her co-wife, namely Asiyah Amadu age 30 years, following a misunderstanding that arose between them.
As a result, Hasiya Amadu sustained varying degrees of burns.
On receipt of the report, a team of policemen rushed to the scene and conveyed the victim to Dutse General Hospital for treatment.
Fortunately, the suspect was arrested and transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) Dutse for discreet investigation.
During interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime.
Unfortunately, on 04/03/2025 at 09:00 AM, the victim was pronounced dead by the medical doctor on call while receiving treatment.
