Jigawa state police command through it’s spoke person SP shi’isu lawan adam confirmed that on 12/03/2025 information from Divisional Police Headquarters Gwaram, noted that, a dead body was sighted by the roadside along Jikas-Dabaja village, Gwaram LGA.
Shi’isu added that a team of policemen rushed to the scene, and discovered a dead body without head and private part suspected to have been killed by ritualist.
The corpse was later identified as Bashir Adamu a 14-year-old disciple (Almajiri) of Malam Musa Wada who had been missing for two days.
The corpse has already started decomposing. Victim relations were contacted after being certified dead by a medical doctor on call. Corpse has been released to family for burial.
Police investigation is underway to apprehend the perpetrators.
