The Executive Chairman of Jahun Local Government area, Hon. Jamilu Muhammad Dan malam, has been commended for his support to people’s living with Disabilities in the area.
Malam Wada Jahun, Chairman of JONAPWD in Jahun Local Government, praised Hon. Danmalam for his kindness and generosity.
Hon. Danmalam provided food items and cash assistance to 220 people’s living with disabilities from 11 wards in the local government area.
Each beneficiary received a carton of Spaghetti, bag of rice, and 5,000 naira cash at hand.
The Chairman emphasized that the disabilities people’s deserve support and care, saying that; “they have not committed any offense, and Allah has created them that way.” He also urged the people of Jahun Local Government and Jigawa State to remember the person’s with Disabilities and give them moral support, especially during this holy month of Ramadan.
The Vice Chairman, Hon. Rabi’u Salisu Harbo, and the Director of Finance and Administration, ALH. Yakubu Bala, acknowledged that the Chairman obtained their consent and approval before implementing the support program.
This act of kindness demonstrates Hon. Danmalam’s commitment toward supporting vulnerable members of his community.
