The Kano Municipal Local Government has commended small- and large-scale business owners in Kasuwar Dubai and Kurmi Markets for their strong cooperation and support in boosting revenue generation to drive development in the area.
The Special Adviser to the Kano Municipal Local Government on Traders, Investment, and Market Affairs, Hajiya Mariya Ali Zage, made this statement shortly after addressing the leaders of market associations at their business center.
Hajiya Mariya Ali Zage emphasized that the Local Government is committed to utilizing internally generated revenue for meaningful projects that will benefit the people of the area.
She urged residents to continue supporting and cooperating with the present administration under the leadership of Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf to achieve the desired objectives. She also encouraged traders and business owners to align with government policies aimed at fostering development and economic progress.
In their separate remarks, the Chairman of Kasuwar Dubai, Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Shaishi, and the Vice Chairman of Kasuwar Kurmi, Alhaji Munzali Babba, reaffirmed their commitment to supporting government initiatives. They called on the people to continue backing government policies to achieve collective growth and prosperity.
