Professor Titus Ketkukah is the current commissioner of Works and Transport under the able leadership of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammad of Bauchi State,the commissioner was prior to his recent appointment was a University lecturer with University of Jos, he was HOD, Deputy Dean and Professor of Structural Engineering.
He spoke to Reporter of Guarantee media, Abdullahi Idris on the phone
The deeply respected global scholar, mentor and father shades more lights on the great focus and initiatives of Governor Bala Administration for the greater development of the state and other professional issues concerning Engineering practices in Nigeria,his relationship with Staff of his ministry, politics and appreciation to the Governor over his appointment.
Question:what can you say about achievements of Governor Bala Mohammad ?
Answer:Commissioner, governor has been doing remarkably well in all the areas of infrastructure development initiatives by bringing more sustainable economic growth and prosperity across the state.
Just recently, l embark on the inspection tour across the state to assess the level of road construction works in Bogoro, Tafawa Balewa, Dass and Toro local Government Areas. l toured roads construction about 29km Boi – Gambar Lere road, 22km Rimin zayam-Polchi and 40.20km GelJaule-Lame Road all under construction. The commissioner was impressed with the level on going Road construction and requested for quality control test results to include density, concrete cube and CBR tests. He commended Governor Bala Mohammad for the wonderful projects. He stated that the road development initiatives will equally stimulate economic growth and development of the communities.
The commissioner also commended the host communities for corporations emphasizing that when the roads are completed, they will drive a lot of economic activities across Bauchi state and beyond.
The Village Head of Jaule in Lame District commissioner was so happy with level of ongoing works. He expressed his gratitude to Gov. Bala Mohammed.

Answer: Honorable commissioner,very cordial and all my staff are doing well, we appreciate God for everything.
Question:bHow do you see the level of professional practice in engineering in Nigeria.?
Answer:actually our engineers are up to date interms of expertise and ensuring global best acceptable standard.
Question what can you say about Governor Bala Mohammad’s 2027 presidential ambition?
Answer: I am hundred percent hopeful he’ll become next president of Nigeria by God’s grace in 2027.
